weavers, the baya uses only what nature offers: strands of grass, delicate twigs, and endless patience. Every loop, knot, and thread tells a story of skill passed through generations.

At The Woven, we see our identity in this quiet craftsman of the wild. Just as the baya weaves for function and beauty, our artisans handcraft every piece of clothing with the same balance, bringing heritage techniques into everyday wear. Our cottons are made by hand, in small batches, by Indian weavers whose knowledge is as rooted as the trees these birds nest in.

Rooted in the timeless beauty of Indian handwoven textiles, we create garments using 100% natural fibres, handspun and handwoven by Indian artisans. With a strong focus on breathable, lightweight fabrics, our pieces are thoughtfully designed for ease and movement, perfectly suited to India’s warm, diverse climate.
